Strength coach for footballers

I help footballers perform better.

Twenty years inside football, now devoted entirely to preparing footballers. The same principles I apply every week with a top-division squad, adapted to you. Online, from wherever you train.

Talent on its own isn't enough.

If your training has no structure, if you don't know what you need at each point of the season, you'll fall by the wayside. In football the week turns around the match: every day has its own load and its own aim, and mixing them up is the fastest route to injury. I plan your week the way I plan a top-division squad's.

MD = matchday. MD-4 carries the heaviest strength load; from there it tapers so you arrive fresh at the weekend.

ATP Activate Your Prime

Not so you train more. So you train better. Seven steps, and you're on your own for none of them.

1

The first thing isn't training. It's talking.

Before I send you a single exercise I need to know exactly where you're starting from.

  • Where you are now
  • Your context
  • Your strengths and weaknesses
  • Your goals in the game
2

Full physical assessment

I need to know where you are to know how to get you where you want to go.

  • Mobility
  • Speed
  • Strength
  • Power
3

We build your roadmap

We set the route. No improvising. A clear plan, with dates.

4

No generic routines

You get your own private profile in the app, with all your work in one place.

  • Your individual plan
  • Video for every exercise

Daily contact

We clear up doubts. We review sessions. We adjust. I'm with you through the whole process.

«Really happy. My coaches are starting to notice the change and they've come to talk to me about starting next season if my level keeps up.» Message from a player on the program

Few players. Full attention. Full detail.

Places on ATP are very limited, and not as a sales tactic. I review every player's video, adjust their load week by week and answer their messages the same day. That only works with very few people at a time. The day I take on one too many, you're the one who loses out.

«I get more attention from you than I ever imagined. I'm pretty demanding with all the feedback and detail, and I look forward to the corrections to raise the quality of the work, day after day.» Message from a player on the program

Take action

Write the word INFO to frankypurti.preparadorfisico@gmail.com and we'll see if I can help you. Tell me where you're at and I'll tell you whether ATP fits you. If it doesn't, I'll tell you that too.

Very limited places

Reach your Prime and become a key piece for your team.

Stronger, faster and better prepared than ever. ATP is individual conditioning for footballers, online and built around your fixture calendar. Each intake is a small, closed group: once it fills up, it closes until the next one.

Franky Purtí at a Persik Kediri FC training session

I've been where you are. Now I get you further.

I'm Franky Purtí, a strength and conditioning coach for footballers. I currently work at Persik Kediri FC, in the Indonesian top flight. Before that I was at Wenzhou FC in the Chinese League Two, and at UE Cornellà and Nàstic de Tarragona in Spain. I hold a BSc in Sport and Exercise Sciences from INEFC Lleida.

Before I prepared footballers, I was one. For almost twenty years I lived the sessions, the matches, the injuries, the dressing rooms and the moments where the physical side decided everything.

That experience shapes how I work today: every session has to have a purpose and turn into performance on the pitch.

Conditioning a footballer isn't about making him strong. It's about having him ready when it matters.

Club advisory

I work full time at a professional top-flight club, so I take on a maximum of two outside collaborations a year. I won't be running your conditioning: I'll sit down with whoever runs it and help them sharpen it.

Tell me your situation and we'll see whether working together makes sense.

Ask about availability

Microcycle auditWe review your competitive week and how load is distributed by position, and you leave with the specific changes to make.
Mentoring for your conditioning coachOngoing support for whoever runs conditioning at the club, reviewing decisions case by case.
Load monitoring criteriaWhat to measure, how to read it and what to decide the next day, adapted to the resources you actually have.
Return-to-play protocolsPhased return to the pitch and clear discharge criteria, so nobody improvises with injured players.

Frequently asked questions

What I get asked most before we start. If your question isn't here, write to me.

What exactly is the ATP program?

ATP stands for Activate Your Prime. It's an individual conditioning program for footballers, delivered online. It isn't a routine you download: it starts with a conversation and a physical assessment, continues with a plan built around your fixture calendar, your position and your injury history, and we adjust it together week by week.

How much does it cost?

It depends on your starting point and how much support you need, so I don't publish a fixed price. Write to me with your situation: I'll tell you whether the program fits you and, if it does, the exact price. If it doesn't fit, I'll tell you that too rather than waste your time.

Can I follow it if I train with my team almost every day?

That's exactly what it's designed for. The program is built on your microcycle, meaning around matchday: the heavy load sits far from the match and tapers as it approaches. It isn't added on top of what you already do with your team, it fits inside it.

Does it work if I'm not a professional?

Yes. What changes from one player to another isn't so much the level as the context: how many days you train, what facilities you have and how much recovery time you get between matches. We go through all that before anything is programmed.

Do I need a gym to follow the program?

For the strength work, usually yes. That said, the plan is built around the facilities you actually have, not ideal ones. If your gym access is limited, tell me in your first email and I'll factor it in before programming anything.

What happens if I get injured during the program?

We replan. Return-to-play work is part of my daily job at a club: we go back to the pitch in phases, with clear criteria for moving from one to the next, without rushing the return to make a particular match.

Why are there so few places?

Because I review every player's videos, adjust their load every week and answer their messages the same day. That only works with very few people at a time. The day I take on one too many, it's the player who loses out.

How long do you take to reply?

Between 24 and 48 hours. If you write using the button on this site, the email arrives with the questions I need already laid out in the body. The more specific you are, the more useful my reply will be.

I'm from a club. Can you join our coaching staff?

No. I work full time as a strength and conditioning coach at a professional top-flight club. What I do take on is a maximum of two outside collaborations a year, always as advisory work: I don't run your conditioning, I help whoever runs it.

What exactly does the club advisory involve?

An audit of your microcycle and how load is distributed by position, ongoing mentoring for the club's conditioning coach, load monitoring criteria and return-to-play protocols. All adapted to the resources you actually have, not those of an ideal club.

Tell me your case and I'll tell you if you fit

Two ways to reach me, depending on who you are. I reply within 24–48 h, and if you don't fit I'll tell you that too.
